jaume monserrat
Jaume Monserrat, with a degree in Computer Science from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and a Master MBA from the EAE Business School, currently combines his activity at the head of the companies Dingus and Etoolinnovation (HITT Group) as CEO and Co-founder, with the presidency of the International Cluster of Information and Communication Technologies applied to Tourism (Turistec).
His professional beginnings in the mid-1980s are linked to the hotel company Sol-Meliá as an applications programmer, later becoming Director of Systems and Communications at Riu Hotels & Resorts.
In 1997 he became Head of Organisation and Systems at MTS (Mediterranean Travel Services) and shortly afterwards, within the same group, he co-founded and managed the company Axis Data.
In 2004 he launched his most personal and ambitious venture to date: the software design company for the tourism sector Etooltech (today Etoolinnovation). In 2008, precisely as a spinoff of Etooltech, Dingus was created to focus on the hotel distribution business, which went international in Mexico a few years later.
The business objective and the ICT-Tourism cluster project: to achieve high levels of competitiveness in the global market thanks to innovation, talent management and strategy. To transfer and share knowledge as a contribution to the socio-economic growth generated by tourism activity and the technology-based companies that support it today.
