María José Aguiló holds a degree in Communication and Public Relations from the University of Girona.

She began her professional career with the establishment of the Bertelsmann Stiftung in Spain (Barcelona) as management, communication and event organizer assistant. Later she joined the tourism sector and after working for two hotel companies she took over the management of the Agrupación Empresarial Hotelera de Alcudia, a reference association in the north of Mallorca and member of the FEHM.

Subsequently, he also took over the management of the Hotel Association of Alcudia and Can Picafort, a position he has held for 20 years. In 2004 he participated in the creation and directed the first public-private entity for the promotion of tourism in the Balearic Islands, the Consorcio de Promoción Exterior de Alcudia, simultaneously managing the aforementioned Hotel Associations until he joined the FEHM.

Since October 2017, she has held the position of executive vice president of the Hotel Business Federation of Mallorca.
