Thanks to the invitation of Dr. Iván Murray from the UIB Faculty of Tourism, we have been chatting with the students of the sustainable tourism subject of the Tourism Degree at the University of the Balearic Islands.
During the session, we have explained the history and how the Observatory was born, the methodology, knowledge management, data governance, news regarding the open data portal and the dashboards. We have browsed the web to see the different sections and the different frameworks with which we work.
It has been quite an experience to be able to share a bit of the Observatory with people who, in the not too distant future, will be in charge of applying sustainable actions for our island.
